3D figures are a type of decorations that we here at ADAL offer to our customers. We not only guarantee access to the highest materials needed to create them such as holographic mats, aluminium structures and LED lights. We also provide a comprehensive service for any type of a 3D figure. We are ready to complete any projects that our customers presents us with. We will also deliver the needed materials, assemble the illumination and disassembly after the Christmas period. A great example of that would be the figure of “Reksio” created by us for the town of Bielsko-Biała.
The project of an illuminated figure of “Reksio” was created for Bielsko-Biała City Council. The reason should be well known to all – it is precisely here that the studio responsible for the creation of Reksio has been located in the years of 1967-1990 while the animated fable was still being aired.
Along with the 2017 Christmas decoration the hero could one again return to his home town and become something spectacular. Amazing the local population as well as the tourist visiting Bielsko-Biała.
It was a real challenge to recreate Reksio as a Christmas decoration since he is very well known to millions of polish people. It was essential to create a figure which looked exactly as the original while using the materials normally used for these types of decorations. Building on that we had to ensure that each piece of the aluminium skeleton was on point to which the holographic mat would be attached. It was also necessary to select the appropriate mat colours which could resemble the original Reksio look including elements such as LED strings and ropes. The final representation was deemed a success – it quickly gained fame and sympathy, its pictures could be seen all over social media. But Reksio wasn’t the only attraction present, we also created a decorative sign saying “Do siego roku” as well as smaller multi-coloured gifts with decorative bows.
Reksio becoming an illuminated 3D figure is not the only special thing about him. For him to become even more interesting and attract an even larger amount of people we decided to give him a few interactive elements. As a result in Bielsko-Biala emerged not a static figure of a beloved character but an almost alive, moving dog wagging its tail at passer-by’s. But it wasn’t just that, you could also hear him bark just as he did in the cartoon but also play a pleasant melody that accompanied him during every episode. This allowed us to create a one of a kind decoration of a public space as well as a historical reference for this city, in which almost half a century ago Reksio was born.
