Festive Illuminations created for the Bukovina Hotel
The illumination for the Bukovina Hotel was created by us in December 2016. It was of the highest importance to create a unique decoration design for both exterior and interior of the building. We achieved this with a few simple yet elegant solutions, as well as the use of the highest quality of materials. From trees with a PE finish to LED solutions which you can easily find in our catalogue. This project, created for Bukovina Hotel in Bukowina Tatrzanska, quickly gained recognition among the residents of this small yet beautiful village. It also became one of the most photographed spots shared on social media during the 2016/17 Christmas period.
Façade Décor – curtains, wreaths and garlands
When decorating the façade of this building, we focused on making sure the outstanding architecture of this buildings does not get lost but rather shines forth highlighted by our decoration. For it is a direct reference to how traditional hoses looked in the region, which are associated with not only a heavy use of wood, but also the use of sloping roofs and a porch with a sloped roof held up by massive wooden logs. Despite the Traditional references the Bukovina hotel is without a doubt a modern building. To highlight its dual nature we decided to use two different types of decor, one more traditional and the other modern. A touch of tradition was gained thanks to the use of artificial garlands, which were placed on the roof, porch and its roofing and the logs supporting it. Additionally garland wreaths were hanged next to the glass planes of the main atrium. Thanks to the way garlands mix with wood the building gained the look a of a festive regional hut. Nevertheless all of the garland elements were additional dressed in small, warm lights ensuring they stay visible all day long. They also play a role of bridging the gap between tradition and modernity. The same hue has been used in the second type of decorations, more specifically LED curtains. The illumination created with them has taken up the main façade of the building meaning the main glass tower over the main entrance. The decoration highlights its modern and stylish design while giving it a very festive look.
Interior Décor – Christmas trees and chandeliers
For this building to have a real festive atmosphere, the outside decoration was not enough, we also needed to create decorations for the inside. We focused on using thousands of little LED diodes just as we did outside. From the beginning we knew that without the use of artificial trees this place would never truly feel festive. Thanks to the decorations we created using modern LED lights and green, pine needle based elements the hotel truly did have a festive atmosphere around it. Which means that wreaths, sphere’s and garlands were a must on the inside of the hotel. But it is also well known that Christmas trees are the most important part of Christmas décor. We decided to go with only the highest quality of trees for Bukovina Hotel, with their thick and wide branches. First of them welcomed guests at the main entrance while more of them could be found scattered all over the hotel. These spaces were also decorated with giant illuminated chandeliers, in the shape of decorative circles with light curtains hanging underneath. They brightened big open spaces of the hotel which is visited by hundreds of tourists each week with thousands of little lights, creating an unforgettable spectacle, perfectly fitted to this prestigious 4 star hotel.
