An imitation of a Christmas tree, which stood in front of the Cracow Shopping Centre Gallery in Cracow 2014 was one of the most universal as well as unique and attractive projects our company has ever realised in the last two decades. It has quickly gained fame and sympathy from the inhabitants of Cracow as well as their guests and tourists alike which visited the Gallery in the Christmas period or travelled to the train station nearby. Thanks to the well picked out decorations this tree was a perfect fit for this space lacking in any type of greenery. It has elevated the space, made it more lively and really brought the spirit of Christmas to Cracow.
The Christmas tree that lit up the entrance to the Cracow gallery is a Giant Standard model which you can find in our catalogue of Christmas trees & greenery products. This type of tree is the most iconic in our line of trees based on the cone shaped structure. Depending on the needs of the client the tree can have anywhere from a few meters to over 15 meters high. The tree that stood in Cracow had more than 15 meters high not counting the glamorous 3D topper star. A size such as this turned out to be a perfect fit, which drew in the eyes of the population but it didn’t overwhelm the space in which a Christmas market takes place every year. The tree became a central point of the decorations with which plenty of people took memorable photos and selfies.
The dark green hue of the synthetic pine needles, which cover the structure, was only partially visible during the day. The tree has been almost entirely covered in decorations ranging from giant baubles in bright colours, light decorations in the shape of 2D stars and finishing with a rich coating of LED lights. Millions of lights illuminate the tree itself as well as the thick white Christmas chain enveloping the tree making it the most eye catching feature of the decoration. To make this possible we decided to have the tree illuminated in warm white light while the chain would be covered with cold white lights. The contrast created by the cold and warm colours clashing was the key feature of this decoration.
Great looks are only a part of what we offer here at ADAL. In all of our projects we put a heavy emphasis on using the highest quality materials currently available as was the case with the Christmas tree adoring the entrance to the Cracow Gallery. Thanks to this the tree was completely impervious to weather effects such as heavy snowfall. The joining of a rich decoration and highest quality let us create a Christmas decoration which despite difficult weather conditions stood tall as the decoration of Cracow thought the entire Christmas period of 2014/15.
